FOREIGN TOUR
In December 1987, The Goverment of India appointed Bhau as a coach and
team manger of the team of Junior players, which was to go to Russianfor15
days. During this tour Bhau faced Russian trainers wherever he went of
he successes. The Junior players were 1) Pappu Ramani - Patna (Bihar)
2) Vishal Sareen - (Delhi), 3) Anup Deshmukh - Nagpur (Maharashtra), 4)
Mrunalini Kunthe - Pune (Maharashtra).
OTHER SPORTS
Since 1929 Bhaurao entered Shri Adi Balbhim vyayam Shala at the age of
10. Buddhibal and exercise went hand in hand. He practiced Danda, Baithaka,
Mallakhamb, Wresting, Kabaddi, and Kho-Kho. For these sports the experts
like Baburao Godabole, Shri Shyamrao Kulkarni, Shripad Khadilkar, Gangadhar
Singh, and Aba Ranade benefited Bhaurao.
The wresting competitions were held since 1935 and Bhaurao participated
in those competitions. He got name and fame as a good Wrestler. He was
a champion is wresting in his collage days. He was a captain of Hu-tu-tu
and Kho-Kho of Adi Balbhim Vyayam Shala. In both the games he earned fame.
